RE: transparent color in bitmap

The bitmap file format does not support setting a transparent color like 
GIF or PNG formats.  However, as PatRat has mentioned below, you can use 
transBlt in Win32Lib to specify the transparent color.  But you might 
want to be more specific in your request for info.  What platform are 
you working on (DOS, Windows, Linux?).  What libraries (if any) are you 
using in your project.  These details will help us to determine the best 
solution to your problem.
