I have higher hopes for Easy Linux, which is in beta right now. Go get Be... it will change your life :) The GUI is similar or superior to Windows, no cfg files (they are there, but you'll mostly use GUI tools). The only draw back is it's limited hardware compatibility (video and sound), but that should change soon. I hears SciTech is releasing soon a BeOs release, that means universal video support.
