smudger, I agree with your design proposal and I think your designs are nice. I wonder if you could make a few revisions for me to view:
- the first one (open{euphoria}) with the word "open" the same color as "euphoria"
- the first one with the color for the text and braces reversed (so the words are gray and the braces are blue)
- the last one with just {e}. I don't like the idea of using "eu" because it's too European Union to me.
Other notes:
- I think the second one could work just fine as a logo, and the icon would be the third one ({e}). We might adopt a mascot, and I've suggested a mongoose. :) Maybe you could put a mongoose around that logo.
- The third one as just {e} would still need to have a basic square dimension, meaning don't bring the braces in just because you remove the 'u'. Icon dimensions are usually square.
