I'm useing WinXp Home Version 2002 sp2. 

I run %SystemRoot%\system32\cmd.exe and execute my DOS programs from there. I
cant say that I've had any problems. (I also hook calls to Int10 etc Ok).

nb. There is a newer causeway extender that you might want to try. You just
    need to download the new cw stub. To try it just run the new stub and &
    pass it the usual command line syntax as the paramaters.

    ie; C:> cwstub.exe ex.exe myprog.ex

I have'nt tried it myself but think some else reported it to work alright.
