1. dosshell an Quick basic.

Dosshell appeared with MS-DOS 4.0 and was there up to version 6.20.  It is a pro
gram manager/files manager and from version 5.0 inluded a task switcher to enabl
e one to switch from one application to another with ALT-TAB like windows progra
m manager does.

Quick basic is a commercial product by Microsoft that come with a compiler.
Qbasic is a reduce version of Quick basic include with MS-DOS from version 4.0
(or 5.0) in replacement for GWBASIC and as no compiler.  I think that Microsoft
is still selling Quick basic (I'm not sure).
