1. Non Euphoria discussions
Euphoria Listserv subscribers,
Last summer I used Euphoria for a DOS based software installer - I did a
lot of very neat things in a very short time. Having never written
interfaces to DOS systems services I wanted some help. For instance, I
wanted to get information from several DOS interrupts, I wanted to
interrogate network cards, I wanted to look for IRQ conflicts, in one case
I thought I wanted to capture an interrupt. After I choose Euphoria as the
development language I discovered there was no listserv. So I asked that
Miami host one. I personally benefited greatly from this list, a few
individuals saved me many hours of time.
This summer, for various good reasons, I am redeveloping the installer in
another language.
I am happy to continue to sponsor the Euphoria list, within broad limits.
However, if the list becomes an embarrassment I will not be willing to
sponsor it. Please restrict discussions to Euphoria; continue personal
discussions with personal (non-listserv) e-mail.
Thank you
John Kinne
