------=_NextPart_000_01BC1D00.807FB5B0 For any of you interested in keeping track of the temperature around your PC, I've developped a simple program to manage a simple temometer published in the issue 208 of Electronique Practique. It's based on a single chip Dallas Ds1620 termometer, and it's interfase is via parallel printer port at the PC. It's no joke. It allows accurate temperature measurement from -25 to +125 Centigrade with a precision of half a degree. For those unable to get the original article, I include a .BMP with the schematic diagram. I use it to control the temperature gradients inside our computer room. (And at home, to know when I should put on my whole wardrobe...) This is version 2.0 that includes temperature printed at the screen in the fashion of a screen saver. It needs Modern28.F font from Jiri. (Included in the zip file). Please, tell me your opinions.
