Explenation ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Wiith 320*200 != 64000 i ment that you needn't have a 2-dimensioned sequence for poking a whole virtual screen or vertical part of it to the VGA screen, simple because you can't poke a sequence containing sequence. (And you then have to poke each line seperately!) It's about the code ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ > The documentation and license's included in "The Book" are only for our > code. (That's what they have earned, not money, they want to share resources, i don't know if they should get money, they should get your code and credits, that's for sure.) And yes, it wasn't too nice of me to say this, i wasn't angry or anything, i justed really wanted your code. If you had used my MaZeR routines in anything, i needn't to get money, just the code, that's where programmers are interested in and that's why it's ok to use programs from MicroSoft without paying, cause they only care about money, instead of being creative and trying to make something that is better than anything else in it's kind. I even code when i'm nott gonna use it, or receive any money for it, but just for the fun of coding.... > As for royalties being paid to other euphoria programmers whose code I'm > using in our games, that is our policy. I have no obligation to distribute our code to ANYONE. For the most part, those involved don't DO what we do, and have little interest in making or playing our kind of games. They all have seen our various source codes in one form or another, when we run into a programming problem using their code and need a solution from them to continue. I'm sure that's all they care to see, and that money would be a more welcome sight than 60k of source code.
