1. TEXT GUI

i've sent off the latest version of the gui toolkit (alpha v.3) to
robert. it should be posted in the near future. this version adds a
number of enhancements to the editor portion, as well as the usual
bug fixes.

got a comment, complaint, wish list item or bug? let me know! if you
don't tell me there's a problem, it may just stay broken...

i *may* decide to turn the demo into a full Euphoria editor. in that
case, are there any particular features that people would like to see
incorporated into it? one feature on my wish list is a pop-up list
of all the procedures/functions in a program (like QBASIC) that i
could select from and jump to the proc. also like QBASIC, pressing the
F2 key would bring up the list, with the procedure name the cursor was
on already selected...

Please David, go on! What you are telling sounds so good!
On my wish list are also multiple windows, and maybe even debug facilities.

Thanks

I downloaded the latest version, alpha v.3, and looked at the demo text gui.
It was very impressive. It is obvious you have spent considerable effort in
developing this. It should be a great help to those who wish to make
euphoria application programs that have the look of commercial quality. If
you decide to turn the demo into a full Euphoria editor, one feature that I
would like to see is multi-colored syntax highlighting. Good work!
