1. oidzone beta
I am finishing up the last pieces of what I'm adding to the beta, it
should be ready tonite. I still need playtesters for it. So far I've had
only 3 people say they wanted to play the beta. I need a few more. This
one is way cool. The Betas are NOT going to be publically available, if
you want to playtest it for me, you have to e-mail me, and I'll tell you
where to find it. Everybody who asks to play it will get to, I just need
to keep track of who has which version, and what their system
configuration is.
Things in this version that WERE'NT in the Alpha:
1)It's playable now. You start the game with 4 ships and when you
lose them its gameover
2)All my art is in data files now, instead of 300+bmps, there are 3 .dats
3)PC Speaker and SoundBlaster are now supported. The wav files are VERY
cool.
4)All the game messages, title, prepare to enter, game over are all
animated now.
5)AI swarming mines are now in. They hunt you down like the dog you are.
When you shoot them, they break into smaller, faster mines that swarm
toward you.
6)Your ship is slightly bigger, has 12 rotation angles now, and has an
outline around it so you won't lose it in the background.
7) other misc enhancments.

Hello Michael,
Although I am not a trained beta-tester and game player, I would like to
try out this version of oidzone and report my experience with it. My system
is a Pentium-75,
8 Mb of RAM with a Soundblaster compatible soundcard.

Sorry I'm late, but I would enjoy testing Oidzone.
I've got a 486dx2(Cyrix), 8mb ram and SoundBlaster 16.
