1. Where Does OpenEuphoria Fit Tomorrow

In my business and personal life, I'm using Euphoria for many things. I've got GUI apps, backend server apps, and console apps.

Additionally, any of these programs can be relatively easily made cross-platform, but only for desktops.

I love this language! It's easy to use and fast.

Considering the future: Would it be possible to get Euphoria working on, say, mobile platforms, or other IoT appliances? How important is that?

Finally, I would like to see 4.1 officially released.

As a reminder, where's the Development Roadmap? 4.1 Roadmap

3. Re: Where Does OpenEuphoria Fit Tomorrow

I like Euphoria a lot too. It can be used for many things. I also would like to see structure support and 4.1 be released. Maybe these things will come true one day. With the way things are now, it seems not much gets done or it takes a long time for certain pieces of software to update if they ever do. And I'm not just talking about Euphoria. Look at how many cloused source applications became open source just to help drive interest in them. It seems an interest in learning coding or how things work is waning, and waning a lot.

Nah. There's all sorts of interest; it really just depends on where you look.

Check out GitHub Explore or itch.io or DEV to find interesting new projects.
