EuGTK, thanks again and amazing job Irv Mullins. 
Changed Line 311 in GtkEngine.e to system(sprintf("hostname -s > %s",{ipfile})) 
SunOS and Linux utils use different switchs sometimes. 
 
 
Got back to the source code on SunOS, looking at the changes on GitHub. 
 
 
Thanks for keeping my login when the site moved.

Thanks. For the next EuGTK release, I'm thinking of going back to parsing ifconfig for the network address. Should work better on Windows, also.

I'll use ifconfig without any options, so hopefully that will work on all platforms. Of course, I'm interested in any other ideas that might work better.
