1. RedyCode as a generic text editor?

I am wondering how much interest there is in using RedyCode as

  1. a generic text editor
  2. a web development editor
  3. a generic euphoria editor (to write programs that don't use redylib)

It doesn't hurt my feelings if there isn't much interest in the widget toolkit provided by redylib. It is still very new and incomplete. RedyCode can be used to write non-redylib apps, too. Perhaps there are already too many euphoria editors. But it is nice to have different designs to choose from. I could make some changes that make it more suited for different uses. I'm open to suggestions.

2. Re: RedyCode as a generic text editor?

I'd use RedyCode as a generic text editor. As long as it had auto complete and syntax coloring. Tab support is also always a nice feature. Being able to edit multiple files at the same time is a huge plus.
