Hi
Just to make clear.
The Installer is still in a alpha stage (also used in working enviroment for about 2 month)
The file i provided on Rapideuphoria is NOT closed source! The source is here : https://bitbucket.org/andiwagner/
Also there are this files to download:
http://euphoria.indonesianet.de/eup/EuPortable-de.exe The German Installer.
d.h. Ein deutsches installationsprogramm mit einem eingedeutschten WEE als default.
http://euphoria.indonesianet.de/eup/EuPortable.zip
A .zip file, same as the installer with both a german and an english wee editor.
http://euphoria.indonesianet.de/eup/EuPortable-en.exe
The default installer. With an english language wee editor as default.
You can install EuPortable everywhere (even on usb devices) but you may run in trouble if you make a standard install (e.g. you can't compile the demos). Becouse the demos are in the programs folder!
Any comments are welcome. Jeder hinweis ist willkommen.
EDIT: Download counter was messed up by a kind of download network?!

I installed Win10 and tried downloading one of the .exe packages and got:
EuPortable-en-exe is unsafe to download and was blocked by SmartScreen Filter.
I did download the .zip however. Wee interprets, binds, compiles -- wunderbar.
Clicking on hello.ex results in a popup that says:
Look in the App store for an application to open this file.
Some advice for Windows users is needed.
Rather than learn how to use Windows, I will pull out the harddrive, hide it, and return to Linux.
Thankyou for producing such a complete package for Windows users--it is just what we need.

Hi
thanks you for trying and taking the time for writing a feedback.
I installed Win10 and tried downloading one of the .exe packages and got:
EuPortable-en-exe is unsafe to download and was blocked by SmartScreen Filter.
I did download the .zip however. Wee interprets, binds, compiles -- wunderbar.
Wow! That's alot of work, just for testing!
It's enough for the SmartScreen Filter to block your Site/File if you have NO reputation, you do not need BAD reputation to be blocked.
I spend more time on checking this files on https://www.virustotal.com than on packing them. They still show 1 (generic) positive.
Clicking on hello.ex results in a popup that says:
Look in the App store for an application to open this file.
Some advice for Windows users is needed.
I use EuPortable often installed on a usb-stick, i do not like programs that change the fileassociations without asking me, i do not even like them if they ask me
The package is not a replacement for the official openEuphoria installation files and so it should impair an existing openEuphoria installation.
Rather than learn how to use Windows, I will pull out the harddrive, hide it, and return to Linux.
Thankyou for producing such a complete package for Windows users--it is just what we need.

Again, thank you
