I did build the latest from http://scm.openeuphoria.org/hg/euphoria/
Xubuntu 16.04 LTS
Linux agrellum 4.4.0-22-generic #40-Ubuntu SMP Thu May 12 22:03:46 UTC 2016 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
Euphoria Interpreter v4.1.0 development 64-bit Linux, Using System Memory Revision Date: 2016-05-03 19:06:33, Id: 6446:490db928fa10
The only problem I encountered:
Manually had to create "open_euphoria/euphoria/source/build/include" and run the mkver line by itself
Nice clean language. It's kind of the reverse of Rexx where everything is a string but compileable.
This post is more about the packages I came across:
To the Authors:
WEE - Really beautiful work
EuGTK - Very, very, and very impressed with the GTK3 work.
I have never saw anyone produce so many GTK examples and have them all working right.
I have not started to learn the language yet but look foward to it.
