I can only get the copy of home page (of 30.09.2008) from Google cache with Google Chrome. IE, Opera, NN, FF, AOL IE, Safari do not work with Irv's site from here. Server's timeout. Too far server

Without access to the demo programs on my website, you'll have trouble knowing how to use the new library. It's changed greatly from the previous version. So, I'll zip up the demos, and send them to RDS later today.

Sorry, Irv, same result, server doesn't respond - "network timeout" or similar error messages on all my 7 latest versions of all best browsers. I have good fast ADSL connection now - 3000 kbit/s, works very well. I think it is just blocking of some extra users from some specific domains, but who really knows ...

I don't think this is it. I can't ping the ip address, but I can see and visit the site just fine. And a telnet to port 80 of that ip works too.

It is quite common for external firewalls to drop ping packets.

I got a reply from my service:

"I sent this to our IT department, and the reason certain foreign users can't see this is because some domains have to be blocked from access due to hacking and other electronic attacks that are attempted from these domains. In other words, it's necessary for the security of our network."
