The old values are there for Windows and they no longer work. Is it possible they need to be different for various versions of Windows?

I think the windows colors are working fine. Can you tell me what exactly is wrong. To help, I uploaded a demo program called colors.ex which will show you the various combinations.
As for the keys, which keys are you having an issue with?

I've got the colors working again, but I'm not sure which keystrokes you think are not working.

This is working a lot better than before. The colors look right now. The only thing I can't get working in console mode is CONTROL-DELETE for deleting entire lines now. Control+Delete works like Delete.

A fix for ed.ex and keycodes in general has been posted, but it needs to be confirmed as fixed before we can close this one.
