Graphics in OpenEuphoria

Graphics seem to be the major deficiency in OpenEuphoria. EuGtk is available but it does not seem to be very convenient for Windows (http://openeuphoria.org/wiki/view/eugtk.wc). What are the plans for graphics in Euphoria? Will IUP (http://openeuphoria.org/wiki/view/IUP.wc) applications work in Windows as well? Also, is it possible to link Java GUI applications with OpenEuphoria code?
Edit: I see that Phix has gui features (on examples page http://phix.x10.mx/examples.php):
{} = message_box("world!","Hello",MB_OK)
Above code or even just
"message_box("world!","Hello",MB_OK)"
does not work in OpenEuphoria.
