1. Programming guides (online text)

I found two websites that I thought a lot of you might be
interested in

http://www.mcp.com/personal/

This is a site with a lot of computer manuals in online
text format.  The site is free and only asks you for
your name and email address to get access.

www.ipl.org (pick "online texts" when you get there)

Has a lot more variety but also has many programming
books.  Search for "guide" or "program"
