1. 'dll not found' problem...

Hiyas, I've recently been told that testing on machines with my Exotica dll that have DX 6.1 installed, the Exotica example programs will return an euphoria error saying something that the 'dll wasn't found.' Assuming that the Exotica setup is correct on a the user's computer, being that the Exotica's dll is in the same directory with the example files to use it, the only two ideas that I'm running with is: 1) Since Exotica now requires DirectX 7.0, the dll is not being found because it's being run under Direct 6.1. Yet, this is hard for me to believe, but I guess anything is possible. [Mark: Please correct me here if I didn't explain that problem right, thanks] Exotica is suppose to check to see if the user has a lesser version then DirectX7.0 and return a 'DirectX7.0 is not detected' type of message. I haven't got the chance to test this detection scheme out myself yet until I build my second computer back up with DX6.1 installed. 2) Could this 'dll not found' error be a problem if the user doesn't have the current version of Euphoria? Thanks for any help, tips, hints, ideas, etc... - Todd Riggins
