1. Unrelated - *nix Samba

Sorry for this Euphoria unrelated post.

Does anyone know if it's possible to mount an NT (workstation) share on
Linux? I'm using Slackware 3.2 (2.0.29 kernel) and Samba 2.0.3... compiling
at this minute.

Nop. Thanks anyway. I want to mount a remote FAT/FAT32/NTFS/EXT2/etc...
filesystem, just like can mount my Linux filesystem from Windows using
Samba (www.samba.org).

Another question: Does anyone knows if there is a free (or cheap, very
cheap) NFS client for NT/9x? I already discovered an NFS server.

4. Re: Unrelated - *nix Samba

I was looking at Hummingbird's Application guide (those who sell Exceed,
a X-window communication package) and found what you want:
"Granting Access to your PC - Inetd admin" (win95/98 & win 3.x)"
and "controlling user access (winNT)"
So if you search for inetd on internet you could find what you need...
Here is a demo version to download:
http://www.ockham.be/inetd.html
probably there are free versions at cygnus.com but you must search
more further...

good luck!

5. Re: Unrelated - *nix Samba

Thanks Riwal. I'll check your link. About searching 'inetd'... on Linux
system that's a standard daemon for HTTP servers (AKA Apache).
