David, Had another 'hit' on explorer. This time, nothing to do with IDE or edit.ew..... must just have been a coincidence earlier. Sorry! And just as this morning, if I rerun my program, everything is ok. I started a log of the programs I'm been running and I went back through it in the same order and still can't reproduce the problem. This is just like Yeti sightings!
