1. forum suggestion

This may have been caused by the web site being corrupted when it went down over weekend.
After I had signed into the forum web site; NO [ new topic ] button was display on my web page.
I could not post to the forum.
I created another user account and tried using that account.
I could sign into both accounts but neither displayed a [ new topic ] button.
I tried three different web browsers.
There for I had no way to post any messages and no way to get anyone to help.
On most web sites there is a button to at least send a message to the Web Master.
The problem has gone away today.
My point is that if a user gets lock out of the system and can't post;
there is no way to to get help.
PS: If someone corrected problem it would be a good idea to let users know so
anyone reading the forum would know the problem had been corrected.
Thanks bernie

openeuphoria@gmail.com
subject must contain
all_admins
in it.
If you want to post to a specific admin, subject must contain the admins forum handle
eg
I'm locked out jimcbrown - help
will go to ......
jimcbrown
Can we make this sticky somewhere, or ad a mailto:openeuphoria@gmail.com button ?
actually that link seems to work quite well.

The wiki home page now has instructions for contacting one or all administrators by email.

Can we make this sticky somewhere,
Forum doesn't support sticky topics. We could add a link in the quick links section or something though, in addition to the link that _tom has already added.
or ad a mailto:openeuphoria@gmail.com button ?

There's a ticket open to add a button: http://openeuphoria.org/ticket/922.wc
If it was just a mailto link I'd have done that already, but adding a full fledged button....

... but adding a full fledged button....
Checked my "Euphoria email" and Jim's test message was received ok. I also sent myself a test message; the system is operational.
An actual button may be overkill. A simple link should be enough.
Having a link that goes to an email client rather than an instruction page is annoying for me:
- It bypasses the instructions on how to contact one or all administrators.
- I never setup my Linux so a click on a link starts an email process.

I agree. I think the "Contact Admin" link should direct to the Wiki page.

There is no wiki page. The information is on home.
There's nothing wrong with having the information on home - but adding a link to "home" for this feels weird.

I moved things to their own wiki page.

Thanks! I've updated the links to point to the new page.
